FIFA Confederations CUP 2009 Semi Final 1 : Spain 0 vs 2 USA


Spain was shocked by USA with 2 goals. Despite the excellent performance in Group Stage, that took all 9 points against New Zealand, Iraq, and South Africa, Spain could not defeated the defence of the Uncle Sam's team. Tim Howard was in great shape to keep the goal clean from the threat of Villa and Torres. USA made the first goal in 26' by Joey Altidore and the second was from Clint Dempsey in 74th minute.
